Description/features: Damage to decoration, carpets, and floors, access problems and additional unsightly trunking can cause alarm interconnection costs to spiral. For these reasons retrofit alarms are not always interconnected, resulting in decreased audibility and the increased risk to life in the event of a fire. With Radiolink installation costs can now be significantly reduced, and both interconnection and audibility concerns eliminated. The high performance EI168 Radiolink mains powered base, with rechargeable cell back-up, provides cost effective retrofit alarm installation by simply using a radio signal to transmit between alarms, saving the cost of hard wired interconnection. This also makes additional alarm coverage much simpler. Furthermore, installations where interconnection has not been carried out initially can now be retrofitted, thanks to Radiolink.
